1. News article about technology (ipod):
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/08/16/AR2005081601887.html

i think this article is interesting because some people really do think that the ipod is a very important part of their life and they wouldn't go anywhere without it. a lot of people might be able to relate to what's mentioned and maybe some people think it's silly that the ipod can be part of your memory. for some people, all they do is listen to their ipod, some might think it's a waste of time and others might only listen to it at certain times of the day, such as when their in a gym or in the car etc. like mentioned in the article, "The ipod is a very powerful identity technology", i think that could be true because if a person always listens to hard rock music that could indicate that they like dark weird things; or if someone listens to a lot of dance songs, that could mean they love to dance. some people like to listen to a variety of music, that could also show their personality.

2. How can i become a responsible citizen when using technology?
to become a responsible citizen when using technology is to use it properly. for example to respect others privacy online. some people have accounts where they talk about there selves and post pictures. some people don't mind letting the world see their pictures but others do. just because your friends do that doesn't mean that you have to do that as well. a lot of people post pictures on Facebook but not all. if a person posts a picture of someone that doesn't want that picture to be posted then that's like breaking the rule of others privacy. so to become responsible online is to respect others and yourself, and not to be another person where no one knows who you are even your close friends.

3. How can i make others in my community aware of the importance of being conscientious  digital citizen and behaving appropriately when using technology and online resources?

you can tell them about it so they could be aware next time and tell others. you can tell them about the video growing up online and how people are being affected by others online, for example being bullied online. that might seem silly to be bullied online but it's an actual thing that happened to some people and got hurt from it. if people saw the video growing up online they can see what type of things happen and the type of people that do all the wrong things. you could post these informations online instead of telling because if you post it or send it by email, so these people could actually read it.
